Initially signed up to a free trial, signed up to their portfolioplus subscription and now my account doesn't exist. the user ID doesn't exist when I try to log in. try using my email address and it says I have no active subscription, yet I have a charge from them on my credit card. Incredibly unimpressed, will be disputing this with my credit card company.

So dissatisfied I was hoping to sell prints so signed up and spent hours building a site only to find there are no print labs in europe, this is not stated before you sign up so basically a scam. I shall be chasing a full refund. Really not happy that I wasted 10 hours if my life on this. Moving to squarespace asap. Update after a lot of support I have move to a UK account so can sell in UK using UK fullfilment not ideal but a move in the right direction, some of the support staff have been very helpfull

Good range of templates and fairly easy to build a site. However, the speed is dreadful. I have a site with a small number of photos and it is painfully slow. I have checked it on several devices (PC, Mac, iPad) and the site is really slow to load. Definitely do not recommend this and I will not be renewing.

Looks like customers service is on holiday, no help no solution, unbelievable, I have sent gallery link to my customer but it took them to my website, I can’t show them theirs photos and customer service is not responding, it is a nice and well organised service but

Waste of money for what I got

I have been using this company for my photography website for nearly a decade. It used to work well but has fallen behind competitors. And now I can't get any tech support (been waiting 23 hours) for my site which is taking so long to load that I can't use it to sell. I auto renewed two weeks ago. Big mistake.

I've been for more than 10 years their customer.
I've uploaded thousand of photos so I have a consistent part of my work there, to their advantage.
They keep rising annual plan continuosly without any good reason, never an upgrade in my plan. From Europe website speed is always slow. Just a server with my files, not fast and good enough to showcase work.

Ive been using the 14 day trial and all was well until I tried to upgrade and pay for my account. I used their promo codes to make the "PRO" membership for a year be $104 USD. And when I clicked "pay now for pro Total due now:$104" they sent me a receipt and charged me for the advanced plan which was over $100 more! they also took off one of the promo codes that I used and charged $250 to my account! I tried to explain it to the chat line but they didn't listen even though I took pictures of the my checkout process so I could keep track of the codes I used for the next time around. But the assistant Ryan instead that I took the pic then changed my plan then came to the chat line to downgrade back to Pro? that doesnt even make sense???? He was rude and didn't listen to me and they can delete the ratings you give them so even if you have a bad expeiricne they just delete it!!!!

I've used it for a few years and I'm pretty happy with it. My website looks really nice and showcases my photos well. It's lacking some customization options, but overall I really do like it.

Probably the worst customer service in the business. They grossly overcharge for the services they provide. I have lost countless customers because they had issues accessing their galleries. I have spent hour upon hour with work arounds just to fulfill my customers orders. And their templates are some of the least attractive on the market. I saw a lot of potential in Zenfolio when they first launched. I now see them circling the drain as no significant changes or improvements have been made to their platform for years, yet the subscription rate steadily climbs.

I used zenfolio for 8 years to show my portfolio. In my subscription I had also the option of selling pictures but I never used it. Customizing your site takes some days of practicing and a good amount of emails to the customer service that is pretty goos. I feel they could improve the process and make things much easier. The quality of the photos shown is decent but not the best. They have raised the membership almost every years. I started at $120 in 2012 until they asked me recently $177 without adding any major feature. It's not the first time that I tell them that they should stop raising the price and value old clients but they didn't care. So I switch to SmugMug and I couldn't be happier. Everything is much easier. Loading photos is faster and customization more intuitive. The thing that impressed me the most is the quality of the pictures shown through their platform. The speed of the site is also faster so your potential clients will have a better experience. I pay now almost half with SmugMug and I have a better site with better services.
